SNOW!!! NO!!!

Seriously, my sanity can’t take it.

They are calling for more snow in our area. Not inches and feet but merely a single snowflake or two.  Trust me when I say that is more than enough.  More than I want to see the rest of this winter.

A few weeks ago we experienced the biggest snow we have encountered in as far back as I can remember.   I’m talking we probably had 4 to 6 inches.  WOW! I know right?  And it hung around for a week.  We even had some make-shift snow plows trolling up and down the streets for a few days.

You probably can’t even begin to imagine how excited I was to see the last of this dirty old snowman.

We just aren’t equipped for cold winters in these parts. I realize you need to experience winter to relish in the spring…I get that.  I just don’t LIKE winter.  Sand…sunshine…surf…that is what I am talking about.

My kids loved it though…for a day anyway. They made snowballs, turned the 4wheeler into a drifting machine, summoned up some snow angels and whipped up some snow cream.

Honestly, I prayed it would snow…I so wanted my kids to make some memories in the snow…and they did. And that was enough.

We are over it. My social butterflies need to be at school and away from momma for a little.  We love each other and we bonded but we are done.  Time to get back in the groove.  Time to get back to reality.  Time for summer.  And my favorite…TIME TO CRAFT UP SOME FARM FRESH GOODNESS!

I’ll be working on a few projects over the next couple of weeks and I can’t wait to show them to you – provided I don’t freeze to death before then.

Until that happens…enjoy these pics from the farm and our snowy winter wonderland…
