Hey Friends!!!

Hey Friends!

So glad you came by to check out the inaugural post of This Life I Make and follow me as I start my re-entry into the blogging world.

It has been a minute.

I have been writing this post for nearly a year. Seriously…ok maybe not a year.  I have been writing this post since February 21, 2017.

I had a dream. I had a vision. I had a purpose.  And……………………..then it all changed.

I wanted to write about refurbing furniture and my adventures along the way. Well…I chalk painted and sanded until my hands bled and I just couldn’t do it any longer.  It is fun…I like it…but I just couldn’t see that as an everyday part of my life.

My life is at best complicated (to say the least).

I’m a busy work outside the home mom with two amazingly wonderful kids.

I have a handsome teenage son that is overly obsessed with trucks. Big trucks.  Small trucks. Lifted trucks. Squatted trucks.  He literally lives, breathes, eats and sleeps them.

Next…I have a highly emotional beautiful little princess in the first grade. She is real life little doll most of the time and she is also an artist…a beautician…a scientist…a farmer…a teacher and about 60 other things.  Don’t believe me?  Just ask her.

… I have a hubby too.

So…back to the original story.

My life is a little complicated.

After my first plan went into the wastebasket early on, I sat down and tried to lay out what I wanted this blog to be about. I wanted it to be representative of me, the whole me, not just a little piece of me.  From the sweet June Cleaver in the mornings to the one more “yes dear” away from being medicated in the afternoons, I wanted to share it all.

From meal planning, to decorating, to minimizing, to organizing, to living a life full of memory making moments, you are going to get it right here.

My hope for today is that you will decide to sit and stay awhile and share this miraculously fabulous life with me.

Welcome to This Life I Make.
